Well, i thought the ankle was feeling better...but when i tried to go completely without crutches i felt something pop! so i got a doctor's appt for tomorrow... it sucks but i suppose i'll live right? hopefully something easily fixed... i sure do hope so. other than that nothing really going on here... just trying to figure out this webpage crap. i think i have it pretty well understood but i could be wrong LOL. to see what other web stuff i've been doing check out myspace

well, ankle is still feeling pretty crappy. still gimping around on crutches and in general. probably overdid it a touch yesterday but the crutches kinda interfere w/watching the kids... so that's it for now... no bear for the week...he's away so it's awful lonely around here :(

The Suprise Party was a HUGE success!!!

Well, i did it. i surprised my Bear. for his birthday i planned a surprise party and managed to pull it off without him even guessing what was going on. i had chips, salsa, plates, cups and tableclothes all under the bed waiting the party. his bro took Bear to get his hair cut and then brought him back. then my daddy picked up to take to SC. almost everyone arrived at the last minute but we got them in and then i got them hid in our bedroom. i told him there was something wrong w/Merlin when he got home and he rushed towards the bedroom. he stopped in the doorway and everyone said "surprise!" he said he didn't even have a clue... he had a great time and lee and stratton came from up above. my sisters could not make it because they were caught up in other things. Bear's mom made chili and broccoli cheese soup.

then on monday mom and i hung out. and after we got back home i went to set some breakables on the porch, which i did, but when i turned around i fell off the porch and hurt my ankle. Bear insisted i go to the doc on tues and i found out that i have an extra bone in my foot and that my ankle was not broken. i both sprained and strained my ankle. so i've been on crutches and no work... UGH! but of course, i can't chase 15 kids around on crutches.

other than that there is nothing going on. Bear's cousin and aunt are here this weekend from VA for a belated Christmas. We'll be having that on Sunday. hope it all goes well.

Okay so i'm not doing much better keeping this updated that i was a paper journal. shame on me huh? let's see what's new? tomorrow i'll be transferring from a school i have to drive to to the school next door. so i'll be walking to work rain or shine. hopefully get rid of some of the extra pudge. it was a real dilemma to decide whether or not to transfer. i hate change and adjusting to new people. and i really love my kids. they were pretty upset yesterday when i told them i was having to leave. but i'm sure they will end up being okay. Miss Kristen is taking over my group and she always has great ideas crafts-wise and in general. it's me i'm worried about LOL. new kids and i might be switching ages! going from K-1 to 3-5. that's a big difference. Scary!

Bear is gone all this week. he has to fix all the sites that the other crew did b/c they didn't do it the way the client wanted. 20-something sites done by Friday. unreal. his birthday is Saturday. hopefully he'll be home for it. not quite sure yet how we'll spend it but i'm sure whatever we do will be fun. can't wait for him to see the gift i have for him. hope he likes it as it didn't come out quite like i wanted. oh well can't have everything can you? plus i know Bear, and he'll like it just cause it's from me (i think). so in the meantime, Merlin and i just try to make it without him here.

you should just hear Merlin when his daddy comes home... he does all that "talking" and won't leave his lap... lol silly cat. Bear was tickled by him the other day. Merlin was sitting in the wing chair watching us watch t.v. Bear commented it was just like having a dog. next thing you know Mer's on his back w/his feet in the air gazing at us from upside down. and of course, when his daddy got up to get ice cream he had to check it out. that's because his daddy spoils him and gets him his own variety of ice cream (wet cat food). he'll just beg and beg for that bowl.
